PMPS and TEPS win Upper Grand mental health contest

May 29, 2019

GUELPH, Ontario – Two UGDSB schools are being recognized for the work they did in raising awareness during this year’s Mental Health and Well-Being Week.

The board’s Mental Health Week Committee held a Twitter contest asking schools to share how they were celebrating Mental Health Week, using the hashtag #MHUG.

There were so many wonderful entries that the committee ended up with a tie for first place.

Princess Margaret Public School in Orangeville and Taylor Evans Public School in Guelph tied for first place, recognizing not only the work they did during Mental Health Week, but all of the work that happens on an ongoing basis to support the mental health and well-being of staff and students.
